Version 1.5 of Infinity Nikki, the much-anticipated update, has faced a rough start. Players have reported numerous bugs, issues with logging in, and contentious changes in monetization policies that have left many dissatisfied.
Bugs and crashes prevented a significant number of users from experiencing the new features, prompting many to share their frustrations online. In response to the outcry, developer Infold Games issued a lengthy apology, promising to resolve the glaring problems while also distributing in-game currency as a gesture of goodwill.
Despite their efforts, including tackling nearly one hundred reported issues, skepticism remains high among the community. Several players have expressed disappointment over increases in the number of pieces required for 5-star outfits, making it substantially harder to collect complete sets.
Recent Changes
Infold has pledged to extend events, like Mira Crown, following player feedback and to reduce the number of items needed for certain outfits. While the pivot has been positively received, some fans are still wary, particularly about the recently introduced dye system that they find tedious.
In closing, the developers stated, “Please give us one more chance—to let Nikki’s starlight continue to shine for us all, and to keep the warmth in our hearts forever burning bright.” Though the community has shown mixed reactions to this appeal, the proactive communication from Infold represents a significant step toward regaining players’ trust.
