BC.Game Makes Changes Amid jkaem’s Gambling Allegations
BC.Game has officially announced the benching of Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad as a result of accusations surrounding a $300,000 gambling debt. The organization noted that they are actively seeking a temporary stand-in for the forthcoming IEM Dallas tournament scheduled for May 19-25.
“We are currently looking for a stand-in for IEM Dallas,” the organization stated in its announcement.
The decision follows ongoing scandals where jkaem was first alleged to owe $10,000 worth of virtual skins, which were borrowed from a trader named erslan. It was later revealed that this was part of a larger issue involving multiple debts.
Investigations suggest that jkaem may be in quite deep, as claims surfaced indicating that he owes money to a number of individuals. While BC.Game has stated their support for jkaem through a repayment plan, they also warned of taking action should he fail to comply.
In response to these developments, former team coach Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović alleged that jkaem’s debts extend beyond $300,000, claiming that he owed significant sums to different individuals, including a substantial amount to himself.
The team’s active lineup now includes Luca “pr1metapz” Voigt, Tim “nawwk” Jonasson, Cai “CYPHER” Watson, and Nemanja “nexa” Isaković, with a coaching position held by Benjamin “cube” Stabell.
BC.Game is currently navigating this tense situation while aiming to maintain focus on their upcoming matches.
