Supermassive Games' Unannounced Project Based on Blade Runner Allegedly Canceled

Reports suggest Supermassive Games has scrapped their unannounced title based on the Blade Runner franchise, originally set for release in 2027.

An unannounced project by Supermassive Games, based on the acclaimed Blade Runner franchise, was reportedly canceled in late 2024. This game, dubbed Blade Runner: Time to Live, aimed to deliver 10 to 12 hours of narrative content. Notably, it had a substantial budget of $45 million, with $9 million specifically allocated for performance capture and talent costs.

Despite this setback, Supermassive Games is set to continue their gaming journey. They still plan to launch Directive 8020 on October 2, 2025, and the horror title Little Nightmares 3 later this year, reaffirming their commitment to delivering exciting content in the gaming landscape.
