Baldur’s Gate 3 has recently rolled out its eighth major update, which Larian Studios promises is the final significant addition to the game. Despite previous statements about closing the project, this time it appears to be the real deal.

“Feeling good today about where we are with BG3,” Vincke shares. The update has reignited interest among players with patched content and a wealth of enhancements. Vincke noted that there are 48 pages of patch notes.

As they wrap this project, Larian’s focus will now shift to developing their next big title, as Vincke emphasized, “I think the game will continue to do well for quite some time. We’re looking forward to this fresh start.”

Vincke’s words are accompanied by a promise that even though updates will be sparse, significant effort will go into upcoming projects.
