Path of Exile 2 Community Rallies to Support Player After Misunderstanding

The Path of Exile 2 community shows solidarity after a player mistakenly lashed out at another seeking to trade, leading to a wave of support and gifts.

When you frequent the Path of Exile 2 subreddit, you often come across screenshots of various in-game interactions. This week, however, a post by user N8-97 caught everyone’s attention. He expressed regret for mistakenly crushing another player’s hopes while trying to deal with a spam bot.

This unfortunate incident involved another player named Imagineddy, who just wanted to purchase an item. N8-97, in a fit of frustration, had lashed out thinking he was replying to a bot, but instead responded to the real player.

Community Response

As the subreddit buzzed with this unexpected event, players rapidly mobilized to support Imagineddy, offering gifts and apologies on his behalf.

“I’m so sorry imagineddy it wasn’t meant for you, I meant to message the bot. You can have the item for free - N8-97”

From Imagineddy’s perspective, he thought he was engaging in a legitimate trade and instead was met with hostility. In response to N8-97’s frustration, Imagineddy simply replied, “Sorry…….”

After realizing his mistake, N8-97 attempted to apologize, but Imagineddy had already logged off. The entire community soon came together to ensure that Imagineddy received the support he deserved.

In a heartfelt update, N8-97 later expressed his relief that Imagineddy was okay and thanked him for his understanding, while the community offered continued gestures of goodwill, solidifying their bond over a shared love for the game.
