Deric Nunez, a fellow designer, reinforced this, stating that the names continuously change during early development stages: “We undergo numerous rounds of iterations and internal development titles that fluctuate weekly, particularly at the season’s start.”

In the upcoming Season 8, players will encounter two versions of the demon Belial, humorously dubbed baby Belial and Gigabelial during development, illustrating the lighthearted nature even amidst grim content.
Finer and Nunez are aware of the weight these names carry within the development team, demonstrating their dedication to both creativity and player engagement.
