Nvidia has revealed two new entry-level graphics cards: the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060, starting at $299. These GPUs are targeted to offer affordable pricing for gamers looking to upgrade their aging setups. The RTX 5060 will be priced at $299, while the RTX 5060 Ti will retail for $379, with a higher variant boasting 16 GB of VRAM reaching $429.
Nvidia aims to address the previously inflated prices seen in the market, offering cards that could provide more value compared to the last generation’s offerings. The new RTX 5060 series graphics cards promise improved performance metrics, signaling a competitive edge against rival AMD’s upcoming entries.
Nvidia stated, “We can work with our partners to get these out at reasonable prices, which we are doing.” Whether this strategy will succeed in maintaining MSRP throughout their launch and initial retail phase remains to be seen. The RTX 5060 Ti is set to hit the market on April 16, while the RTX 5060 will arrive in the following month.
