AMD's RX 9060 XT Specifications Leaked: A Fragment of the 9070 XT
The leaked specifications for AMD's RX 9060 XT suggest it is a simplified version of the RX 9070 XT, boasting impressive capabilities yet to be officially confirmed.
AMD has recently introduced its new RDNA 4 graphics architecture along with the Radeon RX 9070 cards. A new leak suggests that the RX 9060 XT will offer competitive specifications against Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti. The rumored specs indicate the RX 9060 XT could feature:
- 2,048 shaders
- A boost clock of 3.2 GHz
- Up to 16 GB of VRAM
The claim comes from Videocardz, referencing unnamed AMD board partners. If these specs are accurate, the RX 9060 XT may essentially be a tweaked 9070 XT, featuring half the shaders and a narrower memory bus, similar to the Radeon RX 7600 XT but clocked higher.
While AMD’s use of GDDR6 aims to keep costs down, reports indicate a bandwidth of around 320 GB/s. Comparatively, if Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti uses GDDR7, it could offer significantly more bandwidth, making the competition tight.
Anticipated pricing for the RX 9060 XT is under $375, potentially drawing gamers eager for affordable options in the upcoming GPU market.
