Phasmophobia has announced its first seasonal event for the year, named Cursed Hollow. This temporary game mode will offer both community and individual challenges.
Typically, Phasmophobia hosts seasonal events during holidays such as Halloween and Christmas. While the specific activities may change annually, these events generally involve tasks like identifying a certain number of totems related to the event.
Starting April 17, players will be able to engage in the Cursed Hollow event, featuring a haunting Forest Spirit and requiring players to find totems that affect the ghost’s behavior. Collecting these totems can either help or hinder players, adding an intriguing twist to interactions with the ghosts.
The developers have acknowledged player feedback on previous events and made several updates for this one, including daily rotating maps and more varied experiences. This year’s iteration is notably shorter, lasting only three weeks while still incorporating personal goals alongside community achievements.
Players will automatically receive rewards unlocked before the event concludes. In addition, the development roadmap for Phasmophobia hints at exciting updates beyond 2025, including overhauls for existing maps and tools.
