Originally released in 2022, Vampire Survivors has emerged as an indie hit over the past few years. Last year, it introduced the Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania expansion, which was its most considerable update to date.
Poncle mentioned that they encountered unforeseen legal obstacles with PlayStation which hindered their ability to implement cross-save functionality. These complications arose from a requirement to share specific information that the developer was unable to access. While the chances of introducing the feature for PS4 and PS5 are slim, Poncle assured that the team continues to collaborate with PlayStation to find a solution.
