Upcoming Trading Card Game: Riftbound Set to Launch This Year

A new trading card game based on League of Legends, named Riftbound, will hit the market with over 300 cards this year.

League of Legends’ upcoming trading card game, Riftbound, is making waves with a fresh set of 300 cards expected to roll out this year.

As announced, the first edition titled Riftbound: Origins will be available later this year, featuring prominent champions like Jinx, Garen, Lux, Yasuo, Lee Sin, Annie, Viktor, Volibear, and Master Yi. The game will cater to both traditional 1v1 matches and modern formats such as multiplayer options.

At launch, a variety of products will be offered, including preconstructed Champion Decks and 14-card booster packs.

“We’ve been incredibly humbled by the excitement and interest from players around the world who can’t wait to play Riftbound,” said Chengran Chai, Executive Producer at Riot Games.
