HP Omen Introduces New Upgrade Components for Gamers

HP's Omen brand expands into the upgrade market with new cooling components and power supplies, accommodating more customization for PC builders.

HP’s gaming brand, Omen, has finally entered the upgrade component market. This week, Omen announced the release of several new products including:

  • 120 mm x 25 mm fan
  • Modular 120 mm x 28 mm fan triple pack
  • Modular 240 mm LCD liquid cooling system
  • 360 mm ARGB liquid cooling system
  • 1,000 W modular power supply unit (PSU)

These fans come equipped with ARGB Gen 2 lighting and can be integrated with HP Omen’s software for customization. Up to 10 fans can be daisy-chained for easier cable management, while the 1,000 W PSU supports advanced connectors like 12V-2x6 and 12VHPWR, sufficient for high-performance graphics cards like the RTX 5090.

Although the pricing and exact release dates for these components are yet to be revealed, HP’s move into the upgrade market indicates their commitment to supporting PC builders. For many, this shift suggests a significant step towards customization options that had previously been limited.
