New Patch for Schedule 1 Enhances Gameplay and Prepares for Content Update

The fifth patch for Schedule 1 has been released, improving game mechanics and hinting at future content.

The great thing about video games is that they allow me to live out my lifelong dream of being a middle-class, British version of Pablo Escobar without the risk of a rooftop shootout. Thus, Schedule 1 is climbing the Steam charts as legions of aspiring Heisenbergs flock to the game to dabble in the drug trade.

Developer TVGS has been managing its rapid rise effectively by continuously releasing patches to ensure players remain in control of their criminal enterprises.

Just less than 12 hours ago, the fifth post-launch patch was released, addressing a variety of bugs related to employees, multiplayer interactions, and casinos, as well as improving pathfinding to reduce crashes.

Although there are no major revelations in this patch, it includes several tweaks intended to enhance gameplay. Notably, there’s a charming entry stating, “Fixed the dealer sometimes preemptively revealing its hand to non-host players in blackjack,” although this could affect game balance.

The patch introduces features such as multi-monitor display options, visibility of owned vehicles on maps, and improved automation for botanists in relocating supplies to drying racks, reflecting a commitment to operational efficiency even within a shady environment.

The comprehensive patch notes can be found below. Excitingly, lead developer Tyler has teased that a substantial content update is expected to roll out this weekend, with sneak peeks promised as the week unfolds.
