Spirit Dominates FlyQuest to Secure Finals Spot at BLAST Bounty 2025
In an impressive showing, Team Spirit triumphed over FlyQuest, securing their spot in the finals of the BLAST Bounty tournament.
In a highly anticipated match at the BLAST Bounty tournament, Spirit showcased their dominance over FlyQuest, winning with a decisive score of 2-0. This victory secured their place in the finals of the $500,000 event.
With Danil “donk” Kryshkovets leading the charge, Spirit displayed a top-tier performance, showing no signs of slowing down after their victory at the Shanghai Major. Kryshkovets achieved an impressive 2.30 rating along with a significant 141 average damage per round (ADR).
FlyQuest, coming off an upset win against MIBR, found themselves struggling against Spirit, unable to really find their game in this matchup. Despite the disappointing result, Iulian “regali” Harjău, the Serbian AWPer, tried to focus on the positives in his performance and remarked:
“We didn’t practice that much. The most important thing was to have fun. I’m returning to pro CS after a long period of not playing.”
“No nos entrenamos mucho. Lo más importante era divertirnos. Estoy volviendo al CS profesional tras un largo tiempo sin jugar.”
The series started on Anubis, where Spirit quickly established a commanding lead, with donk securing a quad-kill early on. The team continued to extend their lead, finishing the map with a score of 13-1. FlyQuest struggled to find their footing and only found success midway through the second map, Dust2, where they scored 13 rounds but ultimately fell short as Spirit closed out the series.
The dominant showing from Spirit adds to their impressive run, setting up a jaw-dropping finale at the BLAST Bounty Finals.
