Call of Duty Unveils Charitable Skin for LA Wildfire Relief Efforts

Activision introduces a new cosmetic bundle in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, with all profits dedicated to helping those impacted by recent fires in Los Angeles.

Activision has launched a new cosmetic bundle for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, with proceeds directed towards the Los Angeles Fire Department to aid wildfire relief. The LA Fire Relief Pack includes unique player skins and matching weapon camos, costing 2400 CoD points (approximately $20), and is currently available in the in-game store.

“In light of the recent devastating fires in Los Angeles affecting our community, we are introducing the LA Fire Relief Pack to Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone. 100% of the proceeds from the sales of this bundle will be donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and Direct Relief.”

Additionally, Activision has committed to a $1 million donation to the LAFD Foundation and Direct Relief.

This initiative reflects Activision’s deep connection to the Los Angeles area, expressing solidarity with those affected by the recent events. The cosmetic items not only support a worthy cause but also feature design elements that appeal to players.

The fires have also impacted local game studios, leading to notable office closures and disruptions in productions, such as the filming delays for the Fallout series’ second season. Moreover, other gaming companies like Riot Games have also contributed to disaster relief efforts, providing generators and supplies to affected fire stations.
