Inzoi Studio Confirms: Acknowledged Shortage of LGBTQ+ Characters

Players of Inzoi are responding to the absence of LGBTQ+ options, prompting studio acknowledgment.

Players of Inzoi have recently highlighted the lack of same-sex relationships in the game, leading to studio recognition of the issue. Initially, players expressed confusion over the absence of LGBTQ+ avatars in this life simulation, with Inzoi Studio confirming that characters created in the game do not feature available same-sex romance options.

Despite the ability to create a gay character via manual settings, the game’s presets seem exclusively heterosexual, prompting a backlash from various gaming communities, especially on platforms like Reddit.

One user, known as GimlySonOfGloin, remarked, “4 hours in, haven’t found a single gay Zoi. Every Zoi from the same sex repels my romantic advances.”

While Inzoi Studio has promised to address this barrier alongside other known bugs and localization issues, community feedback stresses the significance of inclusivity in gaming. The game is available on Steam in early access, and many players await improvements to this essential aspect of character diversity.
