Less than a month ago, the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 modding community was creating characters that were perfectly shaped balls of flesh. Now, a new mod is changing that aesthetic, transforming all characters into actual skeletons.
“Here’s a mod that can be both funny and scary,” writes the modder Erdeminofff about the Skeleton Mod—Transform Everyone’s Body into a Skeleton. This mod cleverly replaces the character models in the game while leaving their original clothing and hair intact.
Erdeminofff provides numerous screenshots showcasing the mod’s effectiveness, showcasing skeletons donning their usual attire, further adding to the humor.

The mod is still in its alpha phase, and the creator mentions that it might be buggy due to rushed uploads caused by technical issues.
Upcoming features include skeleton dogs and horses, alongside a restriction option for applying the skeleton transformation to specific groups.
The Skeleton Mod can be downloaded, but it’s argued that deviating from realism enhances the game—for after all, most historical figures we’ve seen from the medieval period are skeletons, logically speaking.
