Monster Hunter Series Celebrates 21 Years with a Humorous Online Hunt

The Monster Hunter team reflects on their journey and shares a light-hearted moment during an online hunt after the release of Monster Hunter Wilds.

The Monster Hunter team has released a touching video for fans, commemorating the 21st anniversary of the series following the launch of Monster Hunter Wilds.

In a light-hearted exchange, Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, Executive Director/Art Director Kaname Fujioka, and Director Yuya Tokuda shared a humorous anecdote from a recent online hunt.

During the hunt, Tokuda humorously admitted:

“I recently joined a Gore Magala hunt via an SOS flare, only to promptly cart before anyone else. I felt bad about that, but we did manage to clear the hunt!”

Fans have expressed enthusiasm for the characters and the immersive world of the game, which is evident from the emotional responses to the story.

Fujioka remarked, “It’s been wonderful to see players become so attached to the characters, exploring the world and sharing tips with others.”

As the series continues to evolve, the developers are committed to updating and enhancing Monster Hunter Wilds based on player feedback, ensuring an engaging experience for both new and returning players.
