Wreckfest 2 has hit early access for your car-obliterating combat racing enjoyment
The developers at Bugbear have announced that Wreckfest 2, the sequel to the beloved destruction derby game, is officially available in early access.
Starting now, players can enjoy both single-player and multiplayer modes, racing with up to 24 players alongside various bots.
Key Features of Wreckfest 2:
- Up to 24 players and bots in racing modes
- Three courses with five tracks, including a remake of the original Wreckfest sandpit
- Drive classic muscle cars and a modified European compact from the ’80s
- Basic paint customization to make your car unique and ready for chaos.
The developers have taken an honest approach with the launch trailer, emphasizing that this game is still in development, and players should expect some glitches amidst the exhilarating crashes.
“This is a game that’s not done. It’s going to break and crash. The humor stems from its nature as a game about literal crashes.”
Future updates are promised, including additional tracks and vehicles. Players can look forward to a wide array of game modes, track expansions, and customization options as the game progresses towards its full release.
