In a recent vlogger update from the development team at semiwork, Pontus shed light on the REPO game, clarifying that its creation was not influenced by the popular game Lethal Company. He explained that REPO was initially conceived as a single-player experience focused on cleaning a mansion while avoiding the terrifying Headman.
This revelation came during the vlog where Pontus also hinted at exciting future updates for REPO, which include new monsters, a challenge mode, and a variety of cosmetics. The developer underscored their commitment to developing the game further beyond its initial release period, emphasizing the importance of player engagement and feedback. “There is a lot of lore that we haven’t really made public yet… we want the lore to be discovered by you, the players. All questions will be answered but you will have to put some effort into it,” he stated, indicating a desire for players to delve deeper into REPO’s narrative.
For fans hoping to experience the full scope of REPO, it is currently available on Steam.
