A Unique Pasta Display: An Innovative Yet Quirky Project
Explore an unusual project that combines pasta and technology, showcasing a spectacular display of creativity.
A Unique Pasta Display
If I had the means, I would dedicate my time to creating bizarre projects in the countryside. One such project that stands out is a pasta display designed by Julius Makes. After observing the shape of penne pasta, which looks like gears when turned sideways, Julius conceived a device intended to rotate multiple pasta models. The initial attempts with penne, however, proved challenging, leading to a shift towards cannelloni.

While the structure for cannelloni involved an elaborate framework reminiscent of a mini car chassis, ultimately it included mechanisms that would hold the pasta in place while allowing for seamless movement.
Lessons Learned
Despite the challenges, the pursuit of creativity persisted. From engraving images on the tubes to utilizing stencils and paint, each step reflected a patience and commitment to the art form.
