Return of the Original Verdansk Map in Call of Duty: Warzone

The original Verdansk map re-enters Call of Duty: Warzone as players react to the nostalgic return amidst ongoing concerns over cheating.

Call of Duty: Warzone is bringing back the iconic Verdansk map on April 3. This nostalgic revival is part of the game’s celebrations of its 5 Year Anniversary. Activision has gone all out with a slow-motion trailer featuring Nat King Cole’s rendition of “Unforgettable”. The trailer showcases emotional moments, including soldiers interacting with the map and a poignant scene of a soldier shedding a tear.

While many players are excited about the return, there are ongoing concerns regarding the game’s persistent cheating issues. Activision’s anti-cheat system, known as Ricochet, was expected to address these problems, yet cheating remains a significant concern for the community.
