Split Fiction Hits One Million Sales in Just 48 Hours

The co-op action game Split Fiction achieved impressive sales figures soon after its launch.

Split Fiction, the newly launched co-op action game by Josef Fares and the team at Hazelight Studios, has made an incredible debut by selling one million copies within just 48 hours. In a message shared on Bluesky, Hazelight expressed their gratitude:

“The love you all show for our game is overwhelming! Everyone here at Hazelight are beyond happy—and we can’t stop enjoying your amazing reactions!”

In comparison, Fares’ previous game, It Takes Two, took an entire month to reach similar sales figures. Notably, this rapid success is not attributed to the free Friend’s Pass edition of the game but simply to the number of full copies sold as confirmed by Electronic Arts.

Hazelight appears to be on the right track, and early reviews show a very positive response, with the game achieving an excellent rating on platforms like Steam.
