
Update Released for Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster on PC
The latest patch for Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster enhances gameplay and fixes various bugs.
On March 5, Square Enix released an update for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection on PC, denoted as version 1.2.0. This patch addresses multiple bugs and introduces modifications to text and mini-maps for each game available in the collection.
- Each individual game in the series now includes specific updates. For instance, Final Fantasy 3 implements a Job Level modifier alongside its standard Boost features.
- Bugs hindering story advancement and achievement tracking have also been rectified.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series pays tribute to the original mainline entries in the franchise, featuring 16-bit styled graphics. The compilation includes options for both the original and remastered soundtracks. It was first launched on Steam and mobile platforms, and eventually made available on modern consoles, with the Xbox Series X/S being the latest platform to support these titles during the 2024 Tokyo Game Show.
