Valve Unveils March Update for Team Invites

The new update from Valve impacts playoff invites for various CS:GO tournaments.

Valve has introduced the March update for the VRS, which will play a crucial role in determining team invites for multiple upcoming tournaments.

This update is set to influence invites for events like BLAST Rivals, PGL Astana, CCT Global Finals, and MESA Nomadic Masters. Teams will benefit or be disadvantaged based on their update metrics.

Also, the invites will be distributed as follows:

Tournament Invite Distribution

  • BLAST Rivals Season 1
    • Four spots via Global VRS
    • One wildcard for NA, EU, SA, and Asia each
  • PGL Astana
    • 12 spots via Global VRS
    • One qualifier per region: NA, EU, SA, Asia
  • CCT Global Finals
    • Six spots through Europe VRS
    • One from NA and SA VRS
  • MESA Nomadic Masters
    • Two each from Europe and Asia VRS
    • Two qualifiers from Europe and one from Asia

For teams, the latest standings and points distribution remain crucial as they head into these significant events.
