AMD Set to Launch Budget-Friendly RX 9060 Graphics Cards This Year

AMD announces the upcoming release of the RX 9060 graphics cards, aimed at making high-performance graphics more accessible.

AMD has set its sights on the entry-level graphics card market with the announcement that the RX 9060 series will be launched in the second quarter of this year, expected between April and June.

While details on the RX 9070 series have just become available, many gamers are eager for affordable options. The company confirmed that multiple RX 9060 products are on the way, promising prices similar to previous models like the RX 7600 XT and RX 760, which launched at $329 and $269, respectively.

The RX 9060 series is anticipated to compete effectively against Intel’s offerings like the 12 GB Arc B580, especially if AMD can deliver a competitive pricing strategy and performance. There is hope for a 16 GB RX 9060 XT at $329, providing gamers with a notable option for high-quality graphics without breaking the bank.

As Nvidia has notably avoided announcing lower-cost models of their RTX 40-series—starting with the RTX 5070 priced at $549—AMD’s focus on budget-friendly graphics comes as a refreshing alternative for gamers looking to upgrade their systems without excessive spending.

Stay tuned for more news as we approach the launch of these exciting new graphics cards.
