Pokemon GO Increases Storage Limits Ahead of Major Event
Pokemon GO has announced an upgrade in storage capacities for players as they prepare for the upcoming global event.
Pokemon GO expands its Pokémon storage limit to 9,800 and item storage to 8,800. Players can buy these enhancements from the in-game shop, allowing them to fully enjoy upcoming events. This increase aligns with the global segment of the Pokemon GO Tour: Unova event.
Developers have improved storage limits over the years, with the limits set to 6,300 and 7,300 in 2023, then 9,300 for Pokémon and 8,300 for items at the end of 2024. This recent enhancement surprised players, having been introduced without a major event scheduled.
To fully experience the upcoming events, particularly those coinciding with the end of the Dual Destiny Season, these storage limits serve as excellent preparatory measures as players gear up to catch new Pokémon during the Pokemon GO Tour: Unova.
