Corsair Claims Grand Theft Auto 6 Could Launch on PC by Early 2026 But Quickly Backtracks

Recent comments by Corsair's finance VP stirred speculation about a potential PC release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 in early 2026, before the company retracted the statement.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is still set to release on consoles in the fall of this year, while fans await news of a PC version. In a recent quarterly call, Ronald van Ween, Corsair’s Vice President of Finance, suggested a PC launch might be possible in early 2026, igniting excitement before Corsair quickly retracted the statement.

“GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about,” van Ween stated. “It’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early ‘26 for PC.”

However, shortly thereafter, Corsair clarified that this was merely speculation. Historically, Rockstar Games has often delayed PC releases following console debuts, so expectations should be calibrated accordingly.
