Reviving Splitgate: Arena Reloaded – A Back-to-Basics Approach Arrives on December 17

Splitgate: Arena Reloaded discards the hero shooter elements, focusing on core gameplay and physics-based mechanics.

Splitgate: Arena Reloaded will strip away the hero shooter features that defined the previous installment, reintroducing core gameplay elements. Set to launch on December 17, this game will emphasize skill-based play without character abilities or factions. 1047 Games’ Design Director Josh Watson expressed their intention to improve on what worked in the original game while removing elements that complicated the player experience.

This revamp aims to offer a REMINDER of past FPS classics while promising exciting new features such as updated maps and weapons, ensuring a competitive and straightforward gameplay experience.

“We’re focusing on what really matters: gunplay, movement, and your ability to outsmart opponents with the game’s physics.”

Thus, Splitgate: Arena Reloaded will remain free-to-play across platforms, allowing fans and newcomers to enjoy its unique gameplay without any financial barriers.
