Don't Count Out Jensen Huang's Disruption Skills, Says IBM's CEO

IBM's chairperson Arvind Krishna expresses confidence in Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang's ability to innovate despite market uncertainties.

Nvidia’s market evaluation has recently reached a staggering $5 trillion. However, speculation about the sustainability of this valuation looms large.

Arvind Krishna, the CEO of IBM, sees Jensen Huang, the head of Nvidia, as a resilient leader with a unique capability to adapt amid challenges. Speaking with The Verge, Krishna emphasizes, “I would never bet against Jensen [Huang]‘s ability to disrupt himself and go towards the next plateau, if there is one.”

Krishna does caution that certain capital investments may not yield returns, likening the current AI surge to the boom of fiber optics in the early 2000s. He predicts that among numerous contenders, only a fraction will emerge victorious in this AI race.
