Rumored Diablo 4 Expansion May Premiere at the 2025 Game Awards
According to industry insiders, Diablo 4 could unveil its second expansion during the Game Awards set to occur in December 2025. An insider noted that a demonic statue posted by TGA host Geoff Keighley relates to potential plans by Blizzard. Although speculation suggests the statue could signal a Diablo 4 expansion announcement, opinions on whether it might represent other titles like God of War or The Elder Scrolls 6 are also circulating.
In-Game Events for Diablo 4 Players
Currently, two in-game events—Compass to Carnage and Mother’s Blessing—are live until December 2, allowing players to earn extra rewards during the final stages of Season 10, which wraps up on December 9. Despite initial plans, the Compass to Carnage event was delayed but ultimately overlaps beneficially for players who can gear up just before the events conclude.

The Statue of Attention
On November 28, Keighley shared an image of a demonic statue located in the Joshua Tree, California desert. This location is over 120 miles from downtown Los Angeles. The statue features skeletons and monsters, hinting at a sealed demonic portal, leading to discussions on how this may relate to game reveals at the upcoming event.
What to Expect from Diablo 4
Given that notable threats like Mephisto remain following the Vessel of Hatred expansion, fans speculate on future expansions involving church-based settings. Future announcements from Blizzard regarding the franchise remain to be seen as players await more details.
