PUBG Extraction Shooter Returns with Closed Alpha Test in December
The anticipated PUBG: Black Budget is set to launch a closed alpha test focusing on exploration rather than pure combat, reviving interest after several years.
PUBG: Black Budget was first revealed in 2023, but it faded from the spotlight until now. Officially confirmed for a closed alpha test set for December, this title aims to shift the focus from combat to exploration and discovery instead.
Developed by PUBG Studios, Black Budget is set on an island trapped in a time loop, affected by a phenomenon known as the Anomaly. The game emphasizes exploration over raw survival and combat, a refreshing change for fans looking for a more creative gaming experience.
This alpha test is exclusive to PC players in North America, Europe, and Asia and includes two testing sessions: December 12-14 and December 19-21. Interested players can request access via the Steam page. However, the beta may not provide the smoothest experience as it’s still in early development.
PUBG Studios encourages participants to share content from the sessions, enhancing community engagement while they refine the gameplay for future phases.
