The anticipated RPG, inspired by Minecraft, made headlines as Simon Collins-Laflamme, the founder of Hypixel Studios, announced that early access will be priced at $20. In his recent statements, he emphasized:
“Charging more didn’t feel right. I don’t think the game is good yet. My team and I will push hard to make it good, then great.”
This fresh perspective reflects a commitment towards enhancing gameplay quality, despite acknowledging the game’s initial shortcomings. The team now includes 50 talented individuals dedicated to realizing Hytale’s original vision.
While the game faced significant delays in its development, the team quickly released 16 minutes of new footage only a day after reclaiming the game from Riot Games. The footage, despite being described as ‘raw and broken’, indicates strong potential given the game’s turbulent history.
This substantial turnaround in Hytale’s development has reignited hope among its fans as they anticipate when early access will officially commence, a date hinted to be within days!
