Twitch Expands Its Vtuber Presence by Partnering with Leading Agency
Twitch is increasing its vtuber offerings through a partnership with Hololive, the world’s largest vtuber agency.
Hololive vtubers are officially joining Twitch. This development comes as Twitch announces a new partnership with Cover Corporation, the parent company of the Hololive vtuber agency. While numerous vtubers have already streamed on the platform occasionally, this deal solidifies a more permanent presence for these popular anime-themed characters.
This agreement allows Hololive talents to regularly stream on Twitch while continuing their YouTube content. For fans, it means that favorites like Calliope Mori, who boasts over 2.5 million subscribers on YouTube, will now also be visible on Twitch’s streaming platform, potentially enhancing Twitch’s viewership significantly.
In light of increasing safety concerns following a recent assault at TwitchCon, Twitch is prioritizing a secure environment for its streamers. The launch event for Hololive’s debut on Twitch is set for November 20, highlighting the enthusiasm around this partnership.
