The End of an Era: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt to Shut Down

The beloved battle royale game, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, will cease operations in April 2026 after an announcement from developer Sharkmob.

After two years of inactive development, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, a unique battle royale experience, is confirmed to shut down in April 2026.

The developer, Sharkmob, stated:

“During these past 4 years, we have been thrilled to see your passion and dedication to Bloodhunt. Your feedback, creativity, and enthusiasm for our game has meant the world to us. However, despite you, our amazing community, the current player population has reached a level where keeping the servers running is no longer sustainable. This has led us to make the difficult decision to take Bloodhunt offline.”

The game will officially close its servers on April 28, 2026. Players have six months left to enjoy the game before it becomes unavailable. This decision follows a steady decline in the active player count, leading to the inevitable conclusion that overshadowed its viability.
