Today, EA announced plans to improve the challenges in Battlefield 6, making them less tedious and more manageable.
EA’s blog post states: “We’ve seen all your feedback about the challenges and their criteria, the team’s working on a series of improvements to make challenges more straightforward to understand and faster to complete.”
For players unfamiliar with the challenges, they currently range from unreasonable expectations to being outright broken. EA acknowledges the high difficulty levels associated with unlocking various in-game items.
For example, requirements include suppressing 300 enemies or repairing 6,000 vehicle hit points in a single match, making progress almost impossible. EA plans to revise these challenges significantly, suggesting they will be considerably easier to complete.
As they currently stand, the challenges appear designed to keep players grinding for months. In EA’s upcoming updates, challenges that once took considerable time to finish will see significant reductions in requirements, leading to a positive shift in players’ experiences. Adjustments are anticipated to roll out over the next two patches.
While improvements are on the horizon, players may need to hold tight and wait for better session times to unlock essential kits in Battlefield 6.
