Delay Announced for Steamboat-Willy-Themed FPS

The upcoming FPS titled 'Mouse: PI For Hire' inspired by Steamboat Willie has been postponed to 2026, much to fans' disappointment.

The FPS inspired by the classic Steamboat Willie, titled Mouse: PI For Hire, has encountered a setback in its release schedule. Initially slated for 2025, it now aims for a launch in 2026.

In a recent update on Steam, developers from Fumi and publishers from PlaySide shared that they are ensuring the game will meet high expectations, emphasizing the importance of delivering an exceptional experience.

While fans express disappointment over the delay, hopeful news surrounds the ongoing Galaxies Gaming Showcase, where a concrete release date is anticipated to be announced.

As they say, ‘A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.’ The developers are grateful for the community’s support and are committed to enhancing the gaming experience.
