Duck-Infused Extraction Shooter 'Escape From Duckov' Sells 500,000 Steam Copies in Just Three Days

The new duck-themed game surpasses player counts, challenging even popular concurrent titles.

Recently, the extraction shooter game Escape From Duckov has taken the gaming world by storm, selling over 500,000 copies on Steam within just 72 hours.

Duckov’s peak steam player count was almost on par with Arc Raiders, reaching 182,000 players, making headlines as the game appears to be a fresh contender in the extraction shooter genre.

Team Soda, the developer, expressed excitement over the successful launch:

“What an exciting weekend for all ducks! More than 500,000 Ducklings have now joined the world of Duckov! At this moment, the entire dev team is quacking with joy and flapping our wings in excitement. A heartfelt thank-you to every single Duckling for your incredible support!”

Duckov’s gameplay involves players engaging in a top-down environment featuring warfighting waterfowl. Despite being a singleplayer game, it has stood out in player engagement, particularly in comparison to many multiplayer titles.

As Duckov continues to attract attention, it’s clear that the charm of duck-themed games is generating a significant buzz in the gaming community.
