Battlefield 6 Officially Impacts XP Farming Servers, Lowering Their XP Rewards

Battlefield Studios takes action against XP farming by reducing rewards for certain servers.

Battlefield Studios has implemented changes to deter XP farming servers in Battlefield 6. As of today, many servers labeled as “XP farms” or “all bots” will now provide significantly reduced XP, rendering their previous benefits nearly non-existent.

Background

This adjustment comes after an influx of players resorted to these XP farming servers to circumvent the typical career grind required in the game. The developers started this crackdown on October 17, aligning with their announcement of other XP alterations in the game.

While XP benefits have been adjusted, there are still some servers that retain their full XP capabilities, as indicated by advertisements like “GUNLESS BOTS, EASY XP”. The changes aim to balance gameplay in a live service environment where XP tokens are sold and tier skips are incentivized.

As a result, legitimate servers seem to be regaining attention in the Portal browser, with many offering original gameplay experiences rather than exploitative setups.
