Following the completion of the community challenge known as Traunts Don’t Need a Reason, players of Borderlands 4 are now entitled to a free SHiFT code for the Harlowe skin, specifically referred to as the Gravitar. This latest code adds to the collection of free Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes already provided to players, which have rewarded items such as Golden Keys and new character skins.

While acquiring free SHiFT codes is always appreciated, Borderlands 4 continues to rollout new content. The upcoming Horrors of Kairos mini-event is set to launch soon, along with a significant patch that aims to balance gameplay for certain overpowered and underpowered builds. After that, the How Rush Saved Mercenary Day Bounty Pack will be released on November 20, representing Borderlands 4’s first paid DLC.

Players can redeem the Maliwannabee skin for Harlowe using the aforementioned code within the in-game SHiFT menu or on the SHiFT website. According to the official Twitter account for the game, this reward code was issued after players completed 571,670 Contracts as Harlowe, surpassing the initial requirement of 350,000 Contract completions.

This promotion will remain valid until December 31, 2030, and the Maliwannabee skin draws inspiration from Harlowe’s Family Reunion character short, which was released shortly before the game launch. Unlike previous skins based solely on color patterns, this skin reflects the color scheme of Harlowe’s brother Ephraim, featuring a pale green and slate blue with the Maliwan logo prominently displayed.

The continuation of such community challenges that provide free SHiFT skins for various Vault Hunters remains uncertain. However, it appears that every character now has access to at least one style reflecting their pre-release shorts. As the game evolves, there may be opportunities for players to receive new forms and features for their Vault Hunters in future rounds.
