The developer Treyarch Studios has taken significant steps to enhance the Dexterity Perk in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, based on player feedback. Following an open beta early this month, players expressed a desire for some features of the Dexterity Perk to be integrated into the default movement mechanics. Now, Treyarch has announced in a recent update that this feedback has been acknowledged.
With the game launching on November 14, fans will see the perk’s functionality being part of the base gameplay, including aiming down sights while sliding, diving, and wall jumping. Although Dexterity can still be equipped for better fluidity, it will no longer be essential for all scenarios.
Treyarch also shared a commitment to altering several other gameplay mechanics in response to community insights, with various changes to the movement system, including eliminating Tac Sprint as a standard feature, making it a perk for those who prefer its functionality.
For those anticipating more details, additional blog posts discussing aspects like aim assist adjustments, maps, and other game modes will be released before the official launch.
