New Addition to World of Warcraft: The Festival Hot Air Balloon
The latest patch for World of Warcraft introduces an exciting toy mount, the Festival Hot Air Balloon, offering unique gameplay experiences.
Fans of World of Warcraft can now acquire a new mount known as the Festival Hot Air Balloon through the Pandaren Heritage questline in patch 11.2.7. This mount can carry up to four players simultaneously. Although designated as a toy, it provides players with a novel method of traversing the game world in style.
Patch 11.2.7 is set to launch on December 2, featuring early access to Player Housing, the revival of the Brawler’s Guild, and an epilogue that unveils the storyline connection between The War Within and Midnight. Additionally, it introduces a Heritage Armor questline for the Pandaren, bringing iconic characters like Chen and Li Li Stormstout back into gameplay to aid in saving the Spirit Festival.
New Multi-Seat Hot Air Balloon Mount Toy
This questline doesn’t just incorporate fresh narratives and armor sets; it also awards the Festival Hot Air Balloon, which functions as a controllable vehicle. Pilots will utilize their hotbars similarly to vehicle interface controls in order to ascend, descend, and progress through the air. This balloon accommodates three extra passengers, allowing nearly a full party to enjoy an aerial excursion together.
A player named Zee filmed this novel mount during the Public Test Realm (PTR) and shared their experience on Twitter.
Currently, there are no cooldowns or limitations on using this toy, which signifies its potential for creative gameplay once it’s officially released. While it requires a Pandaren character to unlock the quest, players of any race can operate the balloon.
Looking ahead, this innovative addition paves the way for similar mounts in the future, although it may not rival the speed of WoW’s Skyriding system. Fans are eager to see further mounts and vehicles utilizing this exciting mechanic in upcoming updates.
To start earning this reward once patch 11.2.7 drops, players should ensure they have a Pandaren character at least level 50 to begin the Heritage Armor quest on release day.
