The new game, Tides of Annihilation, from Tencent’s Eclipse Glow Games, was unveiled during Sony’s State of Play showcase.

Have you ever wondered what if Elden Ring was based on Arthurian legend and set in a contemporary London beset by supernatural forces? This intriguing premise introduces Tides of Annihilation, a single-player, narrative-driven experience where you step into the shoes of Gwendolyn, the last survivor of an invasion that has devastated London.

Gwendolyn wields the power to summon and control the spirits of the Knights of the Round Table, battling countless foes and over 30 unique bosses inspired by this lore. The ultimate mission: uncover Gwendolyn’s origins, confront the demi-gods of Avalon, rescue her family, and decide the fate of two worlds.

“Debuting Tides of Annihilation at Sony’s State of Play is an incredible, humbling accomplishment for the Eclipse Glow development team,” said lead producer Kun Fu. Translation: «It is also just the beginning. We’ve created a world that reimagines Arthurian Legend with themes of courage, loyalty, and heroism entwined in an epic story set in a strange-yet-familiar place that will challenge true gamers and advance the genre.»

The game fuses modern elements with legendary settings, offering a visually stunning representation of a fractured London. Although no release date has been announced yet, more information can be found on Steam.
