Civilization 7 Update 1.0.1 Tackles Interface and Tooltip Concerns

The latest patch for Civilization 7 addresses critical user interface issues and improves tooltips, while a more extensive update is expected soon.

Civilization 7’s patch 1.0.1 has been launched, centering on user interface adjustments and tooltip enhancements in response to player feedback. Firaxis mentioned that this iteration primarily aims to quickly address the player-reported issues. Their focus includes enhancing readability with improved font scaling, alignment, and other quality-of-life tweaks.

An exciting bit is the acknowledgment of modder Sukritact, who has made significant contributions to the game’s UI. The developers have promised a more substantial update in the upcoming weeks, focusing on further improvements to both the UI and critical gameplay mechanics.

    • General stability improvements and fixes.
  2. Gameplay (Windows PC/Mac/Linux/Steam Deck)
    • Bombers can now launch nuclear weapons when stationed in various units.
    • More fixes related to gameplay mechanics.

    • Enhancements on the War Declaration screen.
    • Tooltips now reflect building status and resources in a clearer format.
