Developers of Battlefield 6 Address Aim-Bug Issue Despite Beta Fixes
The development team behind Battlefield 6 is tackling a new bug that adversely affects aiming, adding to the complex challenges faced in game development.
Developers of Battlefield 6 are addressing a nagging bug that may impact players’ aim, despite having fixed similar issues in the beta phase.

Context and Bug Description In many first-person shooters, holding down the trigger too long causes the player’s aim to deteriorate, typically labeled as ‘spread’ or ‘bloom’. This is often mitigated by allowing a short pause in firing, offering the in-game character a chance to stabilize. However, some players reported that in Battlefield 6, the aim sometimes fails to reset, perpetuating the issue. This previously known bug caused frustrations during the beta launch, leading to speculation that developers were not addressing the problem promptly.
Despite fixing a bullet spread bug linked to character mechanics, developers disclosed that two unrelated bugs have now emerged, complicating the correction process. Remaining updates will aim to address both the dispersion issue and overall balancing in gameplay.
