Total War: Warhammer 3 Faces User Backlash Over AI Issues This Month

Total War: Warhammer 3 has come under fire from players due to AI bugs impacting gameplay, resulting in a significant decline in user reviews.

The Total War community is currently facing significant frustration due to a recent bug that limits the aggressiveness of numerous factions, particularly impacting the Lizardmen and Tomb Kings, who are finding it hard to engage in battles. This follows a previous issue affecting the Beastmen, which went unnoticed for some time since they are less targeted by players.

YouTube content creators and users on Reddit have sparked a campaign of review-bombing directed at Total War: Warhammer 3 on Steam to prompt Creative Assembly to address these ongoing issues.

“It’s been tough,” said a representative of the community who wishes to remain unnamed. “The AI bugs have turned what should have been dynamic gameplay into a stagnant one.”

With players frustrated, user reviews on Steam have taken a drastic turn; while 81% of reviews in September were positive, only 13% in October reflect a similar sentiment, marking a fall to a ‘Mostly Negative’ rating.

Players are hoping for a resolution as Creative Assembly has acknowledged the recruitment issues and recently issued several updates. However, each fix seems to bring about new bugs, exacerbating the overall dissatisfaction within the community.
