He stated that despite his firing along with creative director Ka’ai Cluney, he remains proud of their team’s contributions. Mitsoda highlighted a significant shift after the original game was taken over by a new development team, The Chinese Room, indicating that he hasn’t been in touch with anyone from the project since his departure.

“This makes me sad, but it’s really out of my hands.”
