Pokémon GO has announced exciting new leveling rewards that will launch on October 15. Notably, the Trainer level cap is increasing from 50 to 80 in a significant change intended to improve player progression and make gameplay more rewarding.
Key Updates:
- The leveling adjustments will accelerate player progress in the game, rewarding them with increased incentives along the way.
- Players will now have additional levels to strive for, effectively broadening the scope of gameplay experience.
New Leveling Rewards Include:
- Level 25: Poke Ball Cap
- Level 30: Poke Ball Shoes
- Level 35: Poke Ball Jacket
- Level 40: Great Ball Cap
- Additional rewards are set to include avatar customization options at levels beyond 25.
To gain XP, players can catch new Pokémon, hatch eggs, and participate in events; therefore, those who engage fully with the game can expect to climb quickly through levels. Starting on the same date, a Daily Adventure Egg will also be introduced which, after logging in each day, will require players to walk 1km to hatch and grant 10,000 XP.
This overhaul of the level system is just the latest change as Niantic continues to enhance the gameplay for its dedicated community. With an exciting Harvest Festival leading up to the new leveling update and Halloween events approaching, October is set to be packed with new opportunities for trainers everywhere.
