The lead of Battlefield 6, Vince Zampella, has voiced his discontent with the EA App after a problematic launch that hindered pre-order customers from diving into the game promptly. In a bold move, he suggested to affected players that they could refund their copy on the EA App and instead acquire it through Steam.
Zampella expressed his frustrations in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, stating he had “yelled” regarding the delays caused by the app’s issues. He also emphasized that purchasing Battlefield 6 on Steam might be a better alternative since it didn’t necessitate using the EA App, which was experiencing various troubles.
Despite some users on Steam encountering minor label issues indicating the game was “not released,” Zampella confirmed that the EA App problems had been resolved by 9:23 PM ET, roughly ten hours after the game’s official debut.
As EA tries to rectify these issues, the allure of Steam beckons to many players, especially with the promise of a smoother experience, as highlighted by Zampella’s insightful advice.
