A version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows for the Switch 2 has leaked, discovered in a retailer listing that suggests its imminent arrival on Nintendo’s new hybrid console.
The latest addition to Ubisoft’s franchise had previously launched for current hardware and PC on March 20, and rumors about a Switch 2 port have circulated for months.

An additional hint supporting the existence of an Assassin’s Creed Shadows Switch 2 port was found in an earlier-than-expected product page on the French retail chain Auchan’s website, which features an image of a Game-Key Card box rather than a traditional cartridge.
Potential Storage Issues with Existing Cartridges
The game’s installation size is around 100GB to 123GB, but the largest Switch 2 cartridges available currently hold up to 64GB. This has led some to speculate the use of Game-Key Cards may better facilitate load times from onboard storage and reduce production costs.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed during a financial call that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be getting “new versions”, hinting at the game’s iOS release, already announced but yet to be dated, along with its support for Nintendo’s latest console.
